Good Points
Extremely comfortable fit 'out of the box'.
Kangaroo Leather provides great touch and control.
Competitively priced for boots that are worn by the Fifa Player of the Year.
Velcro Tongue for aesthetics.
Bad Points
Tongue often becomes unstuck.
K-Leather upper requires more maintenence than synthetic upper boots such as Vapor's or Total 90's.
The lacing is symmetrical so the kicking surface is not as large as Preadtor's or Total 90's.
Bland styling which may not be to everyone's taste.
General Comments
The Nike Air Legend boots were a God send. After wearing Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III's on and off for a year, I was yearning for a boot that provided a comfortable fit for a Sunday League player like myself.
I have to admit that intially I looked at the Nike Air Legend, also known as Nike Tiempo Air Legend, because Ronaldinho was wearing them, but the fact that they are made with K-Leather combined with the comfort of Nike's Air Zoom technology swayed me to buy them.
I found the boots to be everything that Total 90 III's aren't - extremely comfortable (the Air pocket is visible beneath the inner sole, something that is not in the top-of-the-range Total 90 III's despite sharing the 'Air Zoom' title) fairly light, not to 'chunky' on your feet and the leather upper provides a 'feel' when on the ball that no synthetic upper can ever hope to do.
Living in Germany, I paid 175 Euro for my Total 90 III's upon release. The Air Legend's cost me 125 Euro. When you compare this to RRP's for Predators - 180 Euro, Vapors - 200 Euro, the Air Legend is extremely competitively priced for boots that are the choice of Ronaldinho and Luis Saha.
Overall I believe the Air Legend to be an excellent boot. Admittedly I am a biased towards boots with leather uppers, but I've worn Predators (which are K-Leather in part) and Total 90's. The fit of the boot is more comfortable than either of these models. If you are a player that values comfort over the whole 90 minutes (something the Total 90 III's promise but don't deliver), excellent touch and a reasonable weight then you can't go far wrong with the Nike Air Legend.
The only faults I could find with the boot are that the velcro tongue, similar to the velcro system on Predator Mania's often comes loose during play. This will not affect your game but for the style conscious amongst you it might be a little annoying ;).
I purchased the boot in black. It is also available in a White/Red colourway. Some people may find the styling and limited colour choice a little dull in comparison to other leading boots like Total 90 III's and Predator's, but if you follow todays trends I'm sure Nike have more colourways in the pipeline. If you want to pay more for these boots then you can visit the Nike Id website for a slightly more varied colour choice and have your name put on your boots, but beware you WILL pay a lot more than you would in the shops!
Finally as I said earlier that I believe K-Leather boots are better than synthetic boots, it's only fair that I mention the negatives of Leather boots.
Whilst providing a better fit in the dry K-Leather can lose it's shape in the wet.
The leather will require more care than synthetic, so you will have to clean your boots more often and possibly use polish or beeswax to keep the leather healthy.
Thats it, I hope you found this review helpful!

I bought mine from Id and it only cost about 10 Euro more plus you get your name on the shoe and a gymbag that follows with it. And you get a colour choice far greater than the shops offer.
