Good Points
Shreds heavy stuff well.
Powerful motor works for hours effortlessly.
Has a few 'bites'at difficult lumps, has auto-reverse (though not claimed by manufacturers details on box)and has easy hopper blockage clearance on reverse mode.
Easily adjustable.
Robust.

Bad Points
Shredder blade blocks up with excess greenery causing hopper blockage.
Dead wood going in can vibrate and fly about if it snaps.

General Comments
The Mountfield 2200w Electric is a very good shredder for serious work. Less good for the soft leafy garden stuff that would compost anyway. Best at shredding maximum diameter(30-35mm) branches with little or no foliage, making it and excellent autumn/winter shredder.

Very good value for money.
