Good Points
Maytag Neptune is the worse consumer product since Firestone tires.

Bad Points
Reservoir of water in bottom of washer(yes)is dirty and stinks, spin cycle is unbelievably loud,(you would not believe the noise), and then the motor just stops. Unit is 5 years old.

General Comments
File your claims against Maytag for this Maytag Neptune Washer that they sold the public. Maytag products are generally inferior to other brands. Check the ratings. They are not now what your grandmother used.



I called Maytag today (4-11-05) and they refused to send a service man to work on the machine. Told me to just file my claim, and they will send me a coupon (about $100) to buy another overpriced Maytag Neptune. Be a sucker twice?
