Slimmer than 5005 and quieter fan. Liteon say it is the same as 5005 with added video plus and pdc. Dv input for Camcorder.
Unless you are techno which I am not, the scart out is composite not rgb as on 5005.
Bought 5005 from Argos which had few problems which if I could have been bothered could have been sorted with firmware upgrade, downloadable from Liteon website. Argos replaced with 5004, slimmer bronze unit. Records on all media including cd-r/rw which is handy for the odd episode of Eastenders. For the price a very good easy to use recorder.
