General Comments

OK, be specific...
I started 10 days ago on Sterling Grant labs Lipovarin and haven't lost one pound, but let me explain something. I am not the overweight kind. For some of you I might sound abnoxous but I'm sure there is people like me out there.

I've always weighed 118-125 lbs. After I got married last year, I went though big stress and depression due to family-past issues and became realy sedentary (But I never really exercised before regularly either). Results: I weigh 135 lbs now.
That means I gained 15 lbs in a little over a year.
So I want to loose it. But I understand that it takes time for the body to adjust to all the change. That makes sense, doesn't it???

I also think that for people like me, it is not so obvious and easy to loose those first few pounds. It's not like we have EXTRA! It's more like the body absorbs it or something. It just doesn't come off so easily.

Now I started exercising about 2 weeks ago. Cardio, some Aerobics and little weights. Along with a light'n'healthy diet during the week and not so light on weekends. OK It's NOT EASY!!! but I'm trying believe me.

My husband doesn't know about the Lipovarin, he would worry too much. His sister has been bulimic and anorexic so he's very sentitive to all this.

I also would like to mention that I take 4 pills a day instead of the 6 they reccomend.

IF there is ANYONE that would like to do this together or HAS DONE IT before feel free to contact me.

If you are in a similar situation leave a comment on this review!

I would love to hear from ya!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL with your HEALTHIER YOU!!!

That is so funny, I just sent an email to the site that I order Lipovarin from and told them that this is day 10 for me and I have not lost one pound yet. My situation is almost exactly like yours. I am used to weighing about 125 and for the past year I have been 136. I just want to lose about 10 to 15 lbs and I thought these pills may help. So far nothing. But I am going to stick it out and wait the three weeks since the product I order is called the Rapid three week weight loss systems which includes Lipovarin, Thyrotril and Aquadrene.

Hi there, well I already finished my 1st bottle of Lipovarin and today I am starting the second one. But I have not lost any weight. Believe it or not. I have been going to the gym 4 to 5 times a week, 2hs/time, doing cardio and free weights. I sweat a lot and get tired but don't loose weight. It's been 3 1/2 weeks already.

So you may wonder why I want to start the 2nd bottle. Well, I want to do this for another 3 weeks and then see. I think the exercise is making me more toned and I have gained lots of resistance.

I still have hope that the Lipovarin will help a little. There is one thing that I see is working and is the fact of processing the foods better and therefore going to the bathroom a lot more often!!! SO that alone I think is good.

Well, as I said, this is the end of week 3 for me. Let me know how it goes for you and GOOD LUCK! Thank you for writing.

Hmm...I wonder if its worked at all for you by now? I'm going to order some, but there's so many negative reviews alongside all the positive ones...but I guess that'd probably be true for any diet pill.

I'm going on vacation in a couple of months and really want to lose the 15 pounds I've gained over the last year. I really hope Lipovarin helps, along with exercising for half an hour, 3 times a week. I took Hydroxycut once, but didn't really stick to it, and I saw no results, however my friend lost like 30 pounds and has kept it off.

Let me know how your experience has been thus far.

Hey, I was just reading your review and I was thinking of buying this product. I am in the same boat, I would only like to loose 10 - 15 pounds and have been excerising but nothing. It is May 4, 2005 now, I was just wondering if you have indeed lost any weight with this product or whether you would recommend it or not. Thanks

  • Joanntotwins Rank: Lance Corporal on 5th May 2005

I didn't lose any weight as a matter of fact I gained two pounds. I stopped taking the product and sent back all three bottles plus the fat burning gel for a full refund. Now lets see how good they stick to their guarantee and if I get my money back.

  • Paolina Rank: Corporal on 5th May 2005

I actually stopped taking Lipovarin a week ago. I did not see ANY weight loss. This doesn't mean the product doesn't work. You know, people are different. It did not work for me at all though. I am still exercising a lot, and eating extremely well, so I expect to loose some weight or at least get fit in the long run.

Let me know how it goes for you though. I am really courious to know if Lipovarin works for people like us, with little extra pounds.

    Good luck!
    Paolina

I just bought Lipovarin and am awaiting the arrival. Unlike yourself I have a bit more to loose although I do understand your sentiments of being not happy with your current weight. We as women like to 'feel' good about how we look, and how we wear our clothing. All this being said I am very eager to start this product I am now 38 and it is harder to loose weight I guess I just did not appreciate my twenties. I am already working out at the gym and at home with many bike rides. I wish you all the best in your weight loss and to a happier you in your clothes.....I will keep you up to date on myself hope you do the same.

I was thinking also of buying lipovarin because I also weigh 135 and would like to look 10-15 pounds. Has anyone seen results from these last comments? It has been a month since these were posted. Please let me know...

  • tlw27 on 8th Jun 2005

Hi! I just read your review. i am the same as you. I am 5'5 and ive always weighed between 115 and 125. now i weigh 132 and would like to loose a few pounds my self. i just ordered the lipovarin and should recieve it in a few days. I would like to keep in contact with you.

  • Paolina Rank: Corporal on 10th Jun 2005

Hi there. Well, I stopped Lipovarin a while ago. I took it for 2 months straight and did not loose one pound. So I figure I would stop.

I started a strict diet based on fruits and raw vegetables like greens, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.
I started working out alot more, cardio and classes with free weights and after about 2 months a this change of diet and exercise I can finaly see some weight loss along with muscle gain and better shape overall.

I can tell you that it takes time and guts to keep up with it. The secret is to eat as often as you can and as healty as you can every single time.
You can only have complex carbohydrates, and only good fat, not saturated or trans fat. Those will kill you. Stay away from High fructose corn syrup, it is liquid obesity.

Reading menshealth articles online helped me a ton. They use a language that anyone can read, they are great and give you realistic ideas. Check them out. Good luck.

    Paolina,
Like you, I am also not considered overweight. I am 6'0, 150lbs, and exercise pretty much daily. I like to think that I eat well, although I do tend to cheat more on the weekends. I'm not looking to drop a lot of weight, maybe just 5-10 pesky pounds, especially around my hips and upper thighs. I'm thinking of trying Lipovarin to give me a little boost maybe. Let me know how it continues to work for you, and good luck!

Hi, my names Christina and im actually waiting for that three week silly fat burning system to come to my door.. carried by that cute UPS guy.. with the tight shorts..

    ANYWAY-

I, am 5'5", and i now weight 158 lbs. Im kind of terribly angry at myself, because id weighed 130 for quite awhile and was unsatisfied, said i'd diet, didnt, and here I am now.

Ill keep you guys up to date, but maybe Lipovarin is just for FAT people. Not SKINNY people. You have to have fat to burn fat. Lipovarin as I saw carries other products that you can use when you already are lean.

Its some gel you rub onto your skin that burns the fat through the skin, I dont know.

Too all the heavily - overweight people who werent successfull, sorry :(

To all the skinny people who are trying to use diet pills to lose petty weight. get lost.

As for everyone else who is curious about how much this fatty can lose over a month period, ill keep you posted :)

I am now on day two.. Wow.
Have any of you seen that movie Requiem for a Dream? Definitely feel like the old lady on uppers, and I'm taking the regular dose.

I drank all the water I had to, and I'm sorry you have to read this part, its disgusting, you poo your heart out.. in a wet manner..

I feel like im sweating all the time..
And actually.. this dress is a little too big for me now.. and its out of the wash, which is interesting.. my belly stopped pokin out as much too. Which is nice. Still have a nice thick coat of cellulite on me waiting to go.

Besides feeling like I'm on illegal substances, wanting to go go go, but theres no where to go.. and the soiling myself constantly..
You know.. I think this is going well..
    OH THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.

    I'm not hungry :)

Christina where are you? Whats your progress? Your diary is great, please let us know more.

  • kimkat27 on 7th Nov 2005

PLEASE write a comment on how you are doing and let me know your progress Christina! i'm dying to know!

  • sandradeemt on 22nd Nov 2005

Christina...please let me know how you are doing. I am 5'7" and 275 pounds. If I start using this it will be quite expensive. I do not want to waste my money if it does not work. To the women who have 15 vanity pounds to lose, Christina is right...fatburners do not work if you have no fat and believe me, 15 pounds is nothing when you are looking at losing 120 pounds.

  • ChristinaKay Rank: Lance Corporal on 22nd Nov 2005

Well its been awhile since ive commented about my lipovarin venture. Im sure youre all begging to know whether i lost weight or not.. or how much weight ive lost.
    Its not important.

I know im a helluva lot skinner now than i was a month ago. And i know my appetite is much more controlled now.

A mistake i made for awhile was not drinking water. I couldnt figure out why i wasnt losing weight as much as i was the first week. When it says 8 cups of water, it really means 8 cups of water.

I used the rapid weight loss system, by the way. It contains Lipovarin, Aquadrene, and Thyrotol(il?). Yea, i guess i'd recomend it. Im happy, i wish i had another 135$ to use the system again and knock some more weigh off, but i can't be a complainer.

Now, im at a weight where if im really determined, im not going to depend on a product. Im eating better, i walk more, and i have more energy.

Best advice, eat healthy, lots of water.

Oh yea, and make sure youre near a toilet. Youre going to need it. Lol.

Loved your comment. You told my story. Except I am 115lbs at 5 ft and really want to get back to about 102lbs, which for my frame is not crazy. I too have started working out, and in the last couple of days have actually gained 2lbs, which I heard is pretty normal. I am thinking maybe I should step it up with the Lipovarin though. I just don't want to continue the trend of gaining 2 to 3lbs a year. Think where I'll be in 10 years! I think I will give this thing a try!

  • ChristinaKay Rank: Lance Corporal on 14th Nov 2006

OK - So some bad news about the Lipovarin. I'm really sorry for not adding this review sooner for the new consumers who may be interested in Lipovarin.

In the long run, your body will develop a tolerance. It is a complete waste, all the weight you lose is really food hiding in your stomach.

BUT recently I have made a new discovery and it is definitely an option I suggest for everyone. I take a green tea tablet with my vitamins now twice a day. It has had a large impact on me. My skin is clearer, my brain is clearer, my bowls are clearer, and it's not that I'm hyper and want to run it off - I actually just feel the need to go out and play.

So - don't waste your money on Lipovarin, as the green tea tablets are incredibly cheaper, and you don't have to take nearly as many.

Do your research on green tea if you don't believe me. It is an amazing leaf!

  • kristen0930 on 15th Nov 2006

This is just a comment as I see this thread is still active - Lipovarin is rubbish - I had about 30 pounds I would have been content to lose, and the only thing Lipovarin lightened was my wallet. Maybe the system thing with the 3 bottles of different pills is different, but Lipovarin on its own DOES NOT WORK and is not worth the money.

Unfortunately the only pills that produce sure-fire results are those with ephedra, but you get the shakes and the risks that go with that.

I know how frustrating this battle can be, so good luck to all, whichever method you decide to use. (By the way, I got a gym membership over the summer, used the stepper for 15 minutes and lifted weights 3 times a week, and I definitely noticed some results after about 2 months - exercise is the best bet for us all - but it's nice to have a little help :)
