The bike has excellent balance and the driving feels very fluid and controlled although being a heavy bike. The nice dirt color of the bike suits it well for its use ---> freeride. Good components. Works better than expected in cross-country driving. Works very well in downhill.
Weight. This bike weighs a ton. This bike sucks in normal road biking ---> it will squeeze the juices out of your legs pretty quick. Same occurs when going uphill. I recommend changing the fork to 888 RC like I did.
The first live sight of the Kona Stinky Dee-lux was totally hypnotic. You can't really get the true picture just from a photo. The bike looks massive at first but you get used to it. At my first test-drive, I noticed that the bike was very stable, and later on I noticed it turned rock steady at high speeds. A day after I got the bike, I noticed a strange shape in the rear fork designed to give more room for the front shifter. I was a bit unhappy with the original fork 888VF so I changed it to 888RC because it didn't have any adjustments. If you have any extra in your pocket I recommend 888RC. This bike has served me very well. I've done drops I didn't think I would do before I got the Stinky Dee-lux. For all you people who are thinking: "This is a lame bike, its components are not as good as the ones on Stinky Supreme!", this bike is far from lame! Once you take this bike for a real ride, you will see... If you like to wheelie, it will work with this bike, you'll just need some practice. Braking and then sliding with your front wheel goes like hot chocolate down in my tummy. Describing something this good is hard... trust me, if you buy this bike, I will guarantee that you'll love it. I know, I do!
