General Comments

Having phoned ahead to make sure babies were catered for at The Woodman, was very surprised to be told on arrival that all their highchairs were broken and could not accommodate us. As had just bought large round of drinks before finding this out, we made grave mistake of asking manager if he would consider refunding cost of round as we now had to go somewhere else immediately to ensure we got a table on a busy lunchtime.
His response can only be described as the rudest, most arrogant display of total incompetence in the customer service line that you can imagine.
I have never come across an individual quite so appalling - his parting comment was that he would "tolerate" children, and I quote, but he did not have to provide facilities for them - nice.
So I suggest you all look for somewhere else if you want a nice family meal - such a shame, because it used to be a fantastic place to eat.
Well done Chef & Brewer for hiring such a suitable man - steer clear!
