The sound quality is great. It reads almost anything out there in regards of DVD and CD formats. Stylish design. Ez view is a great feature, the radio tuner is excellent and as a sound amplifier works even better, watching T.V with this thing is even better than watching movies.
It has the progressive scan feature for big screens.
The drive is too slow and when playing MP3's you can'' explore the disc till it has fully stopped. That is a major disadvantage. It doesn't save setting when unplugged for a long time so it means you have to set it up again. The back part has like 3 open holes, I don't know if those can let dust in and damage the internal circuits.
The Samsung HTDB120 home theater is great and so is the price. However, I would really change that slow drive. MY computer's DVD is even faster than the Samsung's. All the features are great and the sound rocks!!!! I can't believe I've got such a good system for such a low price. You can change the wallpaper, it is just like a computer in your bedroom. The device is excellent. Nonetheless, I am starting to get worried about the problem the other user mentioned about the sound processor. Gotta be careful!
