Good fuel economy.
Heavy steering and heavy on tyres.
I purchased the Renault Clio 1.9D RL car as a stop gap as my previous vehicle packed in. I ended up running it for over 3 years. In the end it had 115K on the clock and was starting to let me down...the usual alternator, then the radiator, then the accelerator cable...etc.
It cost about £250 every year to get it through it's MOT...Not bad for an old banger. I would recommend one but I would look for lower mileage. The engine is good for 200K plus, but it's the rest of the car that hasn't caught up.
