Good Points

Staff very friendly despite working 7 days 18 hours a day, our table waiters Erwin & Jun also cabin steward Buddy, made us very welcome & were helpful at all times, nothing posed a problem. Food in the restaurant & buffets at midnight were excellent. The Lido Bar restaurant I didn't find so good. Entertainment was good, we went to the later shows as we ate at 8.30pm sitting for evening meal.


Bad Points

Palma Airport on departure was horrendous, queues of passengers waiting to check in without adequate staff to cope with the amount of passengers, there seemed to be one queue filtering to many desks, this made us late for boarding the plane, the captain said he was removing luggage from the plane due to passengers arriving late, we knew an elderly couple who were late due to having to queue, their luggage was being removed until we told a stewardess of the situation, she was a little more sympathetic when knowing why people were late.


General Comments

We enjoyed the Sunbird cruise very much, it was our first, the ship was very clean & well organised, staff all very friendly & helpful. We found organised trips can be expensive, we went to the Vatican City approx £50 each, lunch included a basic 3 course not bad. The down side I found was not enough free time 15 mins only to do as you wanted. I found trying to buy postcards write them & try & get Vatican City stamp on the cards hard going in only 15 mins. We managed to find our own way on all the other trips, going by bus or train, often for the quarter of the price of an organised trip, much more exciting than sitting on a bus being led by a guide. Drinks packages seemed expensive, some friends had the package, she found she couldn't have branded soft drinks only on draught, only certain wines allowed, also special tea's and coffees were not included in this package. First glance it appears all drinks are included in this package, this wasn't so. We didn't have them we bought drinks as and when we wanted a drink.
