Good Points

Great link brakes, great underseat storage. Nice instruments, good weather protection.


Bad Points

A bit large to shift about in my garage, rear wheel removal tedious, lack of kick start.


General Comments

I got my Piaggio X9 250 2001 model Scooter on ebay, a 600 mile round trip, the seller started it up for me and all seemed ok, I went down in a hire van (vw transporter) and it was too tall with it's screen and mirrors, so I removed these so I could get it in. When I used it for the first time the battery went flat, I tested the charge and found that it wasn't charging and when I took the panels off to test the regulator I was pleased to see that it was just a badly corroded wire that was causng all the bother, since then it has been a very good scooter.
