General Comments

My partner and I went to Taba Heights for Easter Week, via Peltours and Astraeus.
The hotel is perfect! The Marriott Resort Taba Heights, is clean, with wonderful views, a lovely layout and is very relaxing.
We paid a little bit extra for a room with a view of the Sea and what we got really took our breathe away. Waking up in the morning to the sun and sea is what dreams are made of. I would certainly recommend paying the extra for that.

We went on two tours organised by Peltours. A overnight trip to Cairo, where we stayed at the Cairo Marriott. The tour is long with a five hour road trip each way. To be honest, a one day tour would be enough if you are just wanting to see the Pyramids and Sphinx. The tour operators take you to all the 'commission' places, ie: Papyrus factory, perfume factory and jewellery stores. (Very pushy in some places!). The second day of the Cairo tour took us to the Old Cairo, which is more relative to people looking to follow religion.
Our second tour was to Petra, Jordan! Brilliant! Do it! Don't be put off by the border transfers. They take long but the end result is rewarding. Petra should be one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
The Watersports Centre is off site of all the hotels. A 15 minute, free, open-sided bus ride away! Their restaurant is brilliant. Cheaper than the hotels and just as tasty! Especially the fried Calamari. We did a snorkelling trip through them and really had a lovely day. Gary also did some diving.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel and the location. If your a shopper, dont go! But if you are after a relaxing holiday... this HAS to be the one!
