Good Points

Excellent coverage.


Bad Points

Cut customers off without warning.


General Comments

Vodafone have very good coverage, are reasonably cheap and have good international coverage.

However, be warned, should you ever fail to respond to a query from them, they may cut you off without further warning. On 18 March they texted me to ask me to confirm my address. I was overseas so couldn't dial 191. The message did not say I would be cut off, and only one was received by me. When I came back, a bill was waiting, so I thought no more of it until my connection disappeared two weeks later. It was a Friday evening, so I had to wait until Saturday morning to call them, and when I did, I was told their systems were down. I finally went into a Vodafone shop where I found out what had happened and got the connection restored.

I was informed that this was a 'fraud prevention' measure. That means that they think my phone may have been stolen and so give the criminal 10 days to run up bills.

I will stay with them, but they are definitely not to be trusted.

    Ok fair comment but don't you think it would have been bad if someone HAD stolen your phone and run up a bill and you would have to pay for it???? I think Vodafone have fantastic policies to be fair!
