Cheap, well supported by public transport, english speakers everywhere
Kerava is a bit like croydon - just greener
I love Finland. I love Helsinki, I love Kerava. Being so unbiased makes this review a bit pointless. Eat at the Happy Chicken restaurant, shop at marimekko and drink anywhere you see more than 5 finns and you will love the country too. It is huge, the people are great (really good looking) the countryside spectacular and it looks like middle america in the 1800's with log and wood cabins, pine trees and rolling fields and snowy mountains. Just no rednecks or cowboys. The food at the hotel was good, the rooms were clean the beds comfortable. The showers were really powerful and every hotel had a sauna. i didn't go in for it but my wife spent more time in than out.
