Bad news folks, Championship Manager 5 is a big disappointment and those expecting the game to match past glories will feel badly let down. This game is like a cheap imitation of its previously legendary predecessors and anyone expecting a tactical battle of wits should steer well clear.
This game has bugs throughout, it seems the Eidos programmers have been on the booze while making this game, in fact, its quite amazing that this game even made it to the shop shelves. It seems that Champ Manager's illustrious reign at the top of the football management league has come to an abrupt end. CM5 has been well and truly put to the sword by Football Manager 2005 which has well and truly knocked the stuffing out of this prestigious title. The ironic thing is that Championship Manager has been the architect of its own demise, losing the battle with a serious of own goals as opposed to being outclassed by a much superior competitor.
It's also interesting to note that Eidos wouldn't release any preview copies of the game before its actual release date .looks like they knew they were onto a loser with this shoddy game.
