Good Points
Runs true to the game.
Adds depth to the characters.
Nice story for veterans of the game.
Bad Points
Language seems forced in places.
May be a bit tame for horror fans.
General Comments
For a fan of the game, the Umbrella Conspiracy by S.D. Perry (Resident Evil S.) is a real treat. It adds a colourful backstory to the game, and further develops the main characters, as well as the supporting cast. For newbies, it helps to get a grasp of the timeline and the story itself.

Nice review, I quite like the book as well and it does develop the characters more than the game.
