Good Points

Good sound. good quality. DVD player and CD player as well as playing games. Removable Memory so you can play on other peoples PS2 consoles. Good graphics (Take Note of the Final Fantasy Graphics).


Bad Points

You have to buy memory cards.


General Comments

My PS2 has not broken down and lived through a fall from on top of a cupbored.
(It was on top of the cupbored because it was being hidden for christmas). Its not the PS2 console graphics that are bad, but the game graphics. Don't forget that Xbox has many of the same games as PS2. I find that most of the graphics are good but you often find a few bad games out there but that is because there are so many PS2 games out there. The PS2 is also good for watching DVD, (Though it has a shorting DVD life then a proper DVD players) The sound is also good if it is hooked up to (decent) speakers. I find it unreasonable for people to pick on the PS2 controllers, they are smaller than the Xbox and GameCube controllers. Downside, it needs more then two controller ports because it is annoying when you have friends over and you want to all play PS2 and there is only 2 controllers. Now this new slim line PS2 has its share of bugs, it is known to die. So I say stick to the old PS2, it does not overload like the new one. Overall I think the PS2 is a great gaming console.
