All flights on time, friendly staff and cabin crew, meals superb and economy seating way above the normal standard.
You have to connect at Zurich for long haul.
I first flew with Swiss International Air Lines from London to Hong Kong via Zurich - mainly because they were £300 cheaper than flying direct with BA or Virgin Atlantic. I'm glad I did because, despite their financial difficulties, I never had one single problem. All the staff and cabin crew were very attentive, the aircraft was clean and the service great. Even the legroom and in-flight entertainment in economy was terrific. I just wish I had discovered SWISS earlier after having to put up with the BA and VA "lucky to be on board" class standards. I've used SWISS a few times now and I'm going to Hong Kong again in a few weeks. From now on I'll be going with SWISS whenever I can. Transiting at Zurich is a minor inconvenience which is more than made up for by the airport shops. If you have a few hours to spare then Zurich is only 15 minutes away. In fact, I now deliberately get an earlier connection so that I can have a quick visit there. I wholeheartedly recommend this airline.
