Good Points

Boots looked good but very poor quality for the money.


Bad Points

Extremely poor Customer Services.
They are trying to make a quick buck as soon as possible without the care of the customer.


General Comments

I bought a pair of expensive leather boots with leather soles from Office. I wore them twice and the leather was worn out on the bottom. I took them back into 'OFFICE' at the Trafford Centre where I purchased them from to complain. They said they had to send them to head office for their opinion and refussed to give me my money back. So I contacted trading standards and they said they would go into the shop the next day to inspect the boots. But when trading standards went into the shop to see the boots they said they had already sent them to head office (this was not what we had arranged). They showed them some other boots that had nothing to do with me. My boots arrived back at my home address the following week saying the boots had nothing wrong with them and as with all 'leather soled' shoes or boots they needed repairing with a rubber toe and heel. I was furious but was clearly wasting my time with a company that did not care. I will never shop with them again and will make a point of telling as many people as possible so that they will not have to experience similar treatment.

    I have had the same problem with my boots which I bought from Office. I had them 2 weeks before they started to wear and scuff. The sole of the boot does not extend all the way to the back of the heel so that when you are walking, you walk on the leather which then wears away.

    I spent £95 on these boots and they didn't even last me a month. When I tried to take them back and point out the problem, they sent them back to head office and I was told it was a result of "localised wear" so was not given a replacement or refund. I bought a replacement pair from New Look for £25 which are much better quality and have lasted me much longer.

    I was extremely frustrated with this "reputable" company, they should not be selling shoes for such high prices which only last you a month!
