Cheap, small, does what it says on the tin.
Not exactly hi-fi.
Bought an Alba DVD55 from Tesco at some ridiculously low price to sit alongside the 14" portable and play Disney DVDs to the girls. Given the environment it's used in, and that the audience is happy, AND that it plays Kodak Photo-CDs too, I can't in truth fault it. Just make sure the scart cables are securely inserted.
And there was I, cringing in the queue at Tesco buying an Alba...
