Terrible customer service, poor communication, unsatisfactory complaints procedure, cost us money.
I have been a customer of NatWest since I was seven and got the piggy banks, and as a student they were top notch. However, since they persuaded us to "upgrade" to Advantage Premier their service has been simply terrible. They lost us £686 in interest by delaying our mortgage by ten weeks as they couldn't get my name right! They never sent us information about services, their communication was terrible and their "personal service" non-existent. To cap it all they charged us £195 per year. We have had to take our complaint right up to the financial ombudsman as NatWest complaints system was pathetic. Avoid at all costs!
