Good Points

Centrally located for the shops, bars, and all sightseeing. Fantastic and very friendly service. Very clean and spacious rooms, lovely en suite bathrooms and dressing rooms. Newspaper every morning.

General Comments

We stayed in Handlery Union Square Hotel after being to L.A, Chicago, and Las Vegas; it beat all the other hotels hands down!! It was a friendly hotel, we were upgraded on arrival, the room we received was fantastic, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! A nice big, clean bathroom, with lovely white bathrobes, and a big dressing room with mirrors and hairdryers! We got a newspaper delivered everyday. The bar in the hotel was lovely, very friendly staff who made us feel at home!

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better; we could see Macys from our window!!! The Nike superstore was just across the street, we were near everything. We found some lovely bars very cosmopolitan!

We were central for everything, you can just hop on a tram to get to pier 39, then onto Alcatraz, or experience the delights of china town, you must do the city greyhound tour!

This was a fantastic hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who visits san Francisco!
