James Patterson, The Lake House - This is the continuation of James Patterson's excellent book "When the Wind Blows". Unfortunately this is nowhere near the quality of the first book. In "When the Wind Blows" there was more mystery, more betrayal, more suspense. In this book it gets to be too much about the "bird kids" with inane dialogue and a disturbing description of sexual relations between two of them. I found myself cringing many times in this book. Compared to other Patterson works, this book is a major disappointment.
