Rythmical wash action can sound odd.
The AEG 54750 VI is a very competent machine. Have had one for 3 years with no problems. Never pre wash anything and things come out sparkling every time. This machine has an unusual wash action which can sound a little strange as it has a pulsed wash system (if you put your ear close to the door you hear a whoosh, whoosh, Big Whoosh, whoosh sound) but this seems to produce excellent results. Machine is quite quiet at least compared to many cheaper machines and the rythmical sound it does make is actually a bit reassuring - you can tell it is on. Also the main wash is faster than many Bosch/Neff/Siemens machines at about 1.5 hours (I think the wash rhythm above helps speed things up).
Can heartily recommend it.
