Great looking and, more importantly, sounding. Mechanically great. Valves designed very well. Rarely do they have to be oiled. Easy to play.

Yamaha 4 Valve Lacquer Compensation - This is the perfect horn for the intermediate and advanced player. For the money, you can't get a better buy, and will be far fetched to find a better playing euphonium. Compensating system is great on this horn. Slides easily adjust. Durable design. Can't say enough about the valves!!!! Never have to oil them. Very fast for the size of the instrument. Horn will stay beautiful for years to come.
