*Awesome color!
*Very natural and even looking, once you get the hang of it.
*Hard to do your back by yourself! (I had to get my boyfriend to do it. haha)
*If you don't rub it in the correct way, it can turn out a bit streaky.
I exfoliated in the morning using the St Tropez Tanning System body scrub (concentrating on rough areas like ankles, knees and elbows) which really made the difference. I've used self tanners before without exfoliating, and that's why my feet and elbows had always turned out darker. It gets rid of all the old skin cells and produces more of an even tan. So exfoliate!! After that, I used the body moisturizer and it made my skin feel so soft! Definitely not dry or itchy.
So that night I applied the bronzing lotion (which took me about 15 minutes). I used a bit less on my upper body and face since it was my first time and I was a little scared I was gonna look silly. So right before bed I put some more moisturizer on my rough patches (knees, elbows, ankles, feet & hairline to avoid a noticeable line).
The next morning I was suprisingly happy. It looked really good! I think my biggest mistake was using too much on my legs because that's the one area that turned out badly.
Overall, I'm in love with this product! It's a little bit pricey, but way safer and healthier than tanning beds. My advice would be to not use as much as I did, it won't turn out as blotchy and you'll save more lotion too!
