Great price for what you are receiving
Small and compact
Very easy to use, great for first time digicam buyers
Memory card included (16MB) is too small
No optical zoom
The Sony PSC-32 was the first digicam that I bought. After doing many months of research at the time, the PSC-32 was my final pick for many reasons. This digicam is small and compact, yet it is large enough so you won't lose it anywhere. The picture quality is amazing at 3.2 MP's, which is all you need if you're taking pictures for online photo albums or for print. The software package that is included is very easy to use and straight forward. The functions and settings on this camera are plentiful, but not confusing or overwhelming (a quick read over the user's manual will suffice). The video option is also great, capturing picture and quality sound.
The only downside to this camera that I chose to ignore when purchasing it, was the optical zoom option. The digital zoom (smart zoom) is a great feature, but does not compare to optical zoom in terms of quality. I would also recommend upgrading your memory card to at least 128 MB, as this will greaty enhance your carrying capacities for pictures and video.
All in all, this camera is a great starter kit for first time purchasers of digicam's. The price is almost a steal for this camera!
