Good value
Good variety/product range
Good kidswear
Great accessories
Womenswear decidedly dowdy
Menswear small sizing
As a not-very-well-off mum I have bought clothes for the family from George for a long time and been very satisfied. Although I still think there is a good range of day to day wear and the kidswear especially is great value and very hardwearing, I have to say that lately I find the fancy clothes to be decidedly......... dull. George always used to have cutting edge fashions and as a teenager I often used to get great "clubbing" gear as well as daywear I could be seen in! Now at the grand old age of 25 I have either lost all my fashion sense, along with several marbles, or else I just can't seem to see anything that leaps off the rack yelling "pick me".
Traditionally Christmas is a time to pick the most tackily glittery thing you can find and give it an airing. This year I was horrified to see paisley, prints and pastel colours!!! That to me says it all!! Springwear seems to be all pink or beige and not much variety of colours with each piece.
