Magazine fits into the action insted of on top like most PCPs. Slick boult action. Very solid and well made.
Heavy but well balanced. some magazines can make the boult probe feel a bit rough. cant fit a sling. Some scufing under the blueing on the action. No preasure guage.
After many months of research I decided to purchase a BSA Superten bull carbine in .22cal.I liked the Airarms s410 but disliked the magazine stuck up between the scope mounts. The rifle was also stiff to cock. I also liked the new range of Daystate harriers, but decided to play safe with the tried and tested super10 mark 2.
This rifle is everything the experts say it is.
Accurate, 20mm groups at 30metres, quiet, all you hear is the "donk" of the hammer spring, Bolt action very smooth and easy to operate with a good magazine fitted, some are a bit rough on the probe. Have fitted a mark 3 beach stock, this has transformed an already good rifle into a top class performer with looks to match. Have also fitted a Hawk 3-12x44 scope on high mounts with BSA torch and laser (useful bit of kit). With hindsight would fit a 3-9x32 on med mounts to keep in with the compact look. Best pellets Airarms field. Have also made a bipod that slides onto the buddy bottle, great for long shots. TO summarise this rifle must match or better any thing else in its price range.
