Very light, easy to manouevre, very comfortable for baby, looks great as well as performing very well.
Fits into the car so easily.
Lovely to push as it feels so weightless.
Simple to put up and collapse.
Shopping basket isn't easily accessible.
The Maclaren Techno XT wasn't the first pushcair that I plumped for. Being sucked in to the 'buy the best, biggest and most expensive' for our first baby I purchased a mamas and papas travel system three wheeler and to be honest 6 months in I can no longer stand the heaviness, it's hard to push, the wheels keep going flat, it's so heavy I find it difficult getting it in and out of the house and car.
After a lot of research I purchased the Maclaren Techno XT 2005 model, which looks great, can be used from birth as the seat is fully reclinable, it come's in great colours and looks flash. You can buy matching footmuff's as well which have been given 10 out of 10 buy my baby. He loves being pushed in this as he has the great combination of comfort and visability without giving me a hernia from pushing it and when he needs a sleep I can lay it back - also great for summer holiday's abroad.
It is now the most popular among my baby friends and most of them now have one, some who live in flats and others in houses-all find it so easy to use. I would definitely recommend this, however shop about before buying it in large stockists, there are some great deals from the internet - I saved over £60 by doing my homework.
