General Comments

I was wondering around Superdrug, looking for any bargains I could pick up when I spotted 2 for £5 on Garnier Fructis products. I had seen their conditioner advertised which was now in a bigger pot for better value and I was already planning to buy it (Adverts always convince me!)
I picked up the pot and some of the frizz serum and took it to the check out. I don't know how much it usually is but the deal on it was very good value.

I got home and smelt the conditioner, I got a bit of a shock, it smelt like most other fructis products... fruity but it had this strong chemically sort of smell over the top of it which put me off a bit but all the same I tried it out.

I used my usual head and shoulders smooth and silky shampoo followed by the fructis conditioner, I put a generous amount on and clipped my hair up while I carried on in the shower. It says leave it on for 3 minutes but I leave it on for about 5 - 10. I then rinsed it out very well as I didn't want my hair to go lank. Even after I rinsed it out very well my hair still felt very soft and smooth which is a good thing but I was a bit worried my hair would dry lank and greasy.

I followed my normal styling routine. I gave my hair a quick spritz of heat protector and blow dried my hair. My hair felt light and soft and I was very pleased but I usually straighten my hair and thats how I am able to tell how well the conditoners worked. My hair was so unbelievably easy to straighten and it felt so smooth and soft and not weighed down at all! It even made my split ends look great!

I really thought this stuff wouldn't be all that great as I'm usually buying expensive treatments for my damaged hair (a bleaching incident) from the hairdresser but this has worked just as good if not better on my hair but is soo much cheaper!

The pot has lasted for a few weeks on my long hair with some left over!

However I would not advice puting on any other taming or straightening product afterwards as this is a very rich conditioner. On the second application, I used the serum I bought with the conditioner afterwards and it made my hair lank and greasy but the conditioner on its own is wonderful. A miracle!!!
