Overall Rating

    5 stars
Good Points

Easy and functional, appreciating in value, easy to operate, lpg tanks below for safety. Independent heater safe and economical. Design is beautiful. 50 years of reputation. The 1st and original campervan

Bad Points

Never exported to the uk, until very recently,
Turbo diesel engines were troublesome, so always look for this when buying.

General Comments

Having travelled europe in the VW Westfalia Campervan for 6 months and being an importer and seller of these, I can highly recommend them. They maybe more expensive then the english conversions, but so are the german cars. Why, because they are made to last.

Odd you should say the design is beautiful. I looked at one 3 yrs ago and the cupboard doors are much smaller than the autosleeper doors and therefore more difficult to use the space inside properly.
Left hand drive is a pain in UK too.
I bought a Toyota Hiace converted by Devon with the same layout as the autosleeper. Much nicer.

Depreciating factor on a vw westfalia t25 is 0%

also this design has been in production since 1958, I will however pass your comments onto westfalia if you like

I agree that the autosleeper layout is better, however I am not at all keen on toyota Hiace as a van, the T25s have so much more usable size inside given the size of the van from the outside. T25s are true tardis's! Mind you conversions are personal taste, as are vans.
