General Comments

Flatbatt www.flatbatt.co.uk - Ordered 3 x camcorder cables on a Wednesday. Website said 3 days delivery. 8 days later, no goods - no replies - IMHO, no concern for customers.

Let this be a warning - never deal with an internet company that has NO TELEPHONE number on their site. It's the kiss of death for after sales service.

    Finally tracked down a tel number by using Infobel and post codes. Spoke to a guy in a house somewhere - he fessed up that Flatbatt is falling short on Customer Service - he promised to get my items out Special Delivery next day - which he jolly well did and I got them today.

    So all is not lost - they seem to be a victim of their success - 500 orders per day - can't be bad - except they forget we are the life-blood of the business!!

    Hi, i ordered a petrol scooter exhuast system 8 days ago and i also have not received my goods and there is no telephone number. You said you found number please can i have it? mc-seph@hotmail.co.uk thanks

    I found the number by checking the address of the Flatbatt website holder (domain name via UK2.net) then fed the address into Infobel ot 192 Directory enqs. Got the tel number that way. I spoke to a bloke, He actually sorted out the issue for me.

    I can't find the details right now but it's fairly easy to do.

    Ive just tried it and there is no number for Richard Hind. I got a number for his brother David Hind who own www.m-99.co.uk which the site is exactly the same and is based at the same place. David is not answering his phone, if you can find the details you had it would be much appreciated. thanks

    That's as far as I got - but the brother actually answered the phone. I suspect they never thought that anyone would do what I did. If they're not answering now - that probably tells you a lot.

    Try WatchDog BBC 1 , Consumer Protection and Trading Statndards and the Local Authority - if they are operating from a house then they are probably in breach of some laws.

    hi i seriously cannot track any of these guys down and i seriously need my goods. they are not in breach of anything until the 28 days delivery contract is up (they say thats the max) but they say 3-4 working days. I don't know what to do as i cannot contact them in any way what so ever.

    go to UK2.net - type in their domain name for Flatbatt and look at the company secretary's Registered Address under Details- then go there or send a solicitors letter!!! Let us know how you get on.
