This a light, fast handling one cocker that I am very impressed with, Shot great right out of the box. I was shooting plastic bottles at about 35 yards and popping them every time. I cleaned it and added some Beeman viscous oil to the seal, spring and barrel and the next day it was a monster for its rated fps and price. If I would have had this piece when I was 13, I would have been king of the block!
Only one complaint, NO IRON SIGHTS!..You guys at Beeman slap on some true glow sights and a see through scope mount and you would make a mill!
The Beeman Silver Bear 1783 is undoubtedly the funnest plinker I have ever owned, I have a Daisy Powerline 1000 and a Beeman R9, But those arent for the back yard. I usually shoot my Gamo and Benjamin pistols there but wanted a backyard plinker. I have to say I pleased with this little carbine, especially the price. By the way...the next piece I buy will be a Beeman P1 magnum. Think you guys could run a sale or something?
