Good Points

The 1.9 dti 6 speed model is the one to have with plenty of room in the rear and a good long distance drive they have ajustable hight seats and in and out steering wheel. Try and get one with electric windows if poss as winders catch on drivers seat if too high.

Bad Points

Beware of low milage gearbox leaks on the 6 speed models.
Bad air noise throughout speed from side door slide track.
These vans have rev limiters set at 3500 revs (not a lot).

General Comments

The 1.9 dti 6 speed model Vauxhall Vivaro Mini Bus is the one to have with plenty of room in the rear and a good long distance drive they have ajustable hight seats and in and out steering wheel. Try and get one with electric windows if poss as winders catch on drivers seat if to high.
Beware of LOW milage gearbox leaks. The main shaft oil seals tend to go on the 6 speed models and spray the clutch plate with gear oil, so get that engine warm and check for leaks. Also try and take them on a long run and check they go in all gears from cold ok as its not a cheap job.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.. You can also get bad air noise throughout speed from the side door slide track so avoid twin sliding doors unless you have a good pair of ear defenders.
These vans have rev limiters witch can be a good thing but they are set to only 3500 revs so first gear is VERY short and you'll have to be quick on the gears to get out on a busy road. I'm not a ford man but I think the transit is a better vehicle.
