Can the series of WWE games go anywhere else?
WWE Smackdown! VS. Raw is a PS2 only title and is the 4th WWE title for the PS2. So what's new? New matches like the Parking-Lot-Brawl which consists of throwing your opponent into cars. New superstars in Rene Dupree, Mark Jindrak etc. The fighting system in Smackdown VS Raw is second to none as always and a main pulling power. The main modes in the game are the Story Mode where you take a created wrestler or a wrestler to the Championship being either Raw's World Heavyweight Title or the WWE title on Smackdown! The story mode is too short and the superstar voices are bad but it works okay better than Smackdown Here Comes The Pain story mode that's for sure. Exhibition mode where you can have any match you desire. Create mode consisting of create a wrestler, taunt etc. And online play which is one of the games major letdowns. You can only play a single match or a bra and panties match. If only they'd given you all the matches. That's what the X-Box offering offers and it makes Smackdown VS. Raw look awful in comparison the graphics are amazing the only thing that could let it down being the control issues something the Smackdown series has never faulted in. Overall WWE Smackdown VS. Raw is well worth purchasing if you don't have an X-Box if you do I'd wait until April to get your hands on Wrestlemania 21.
