Mind blowing performance and side splitting handling
Steering a little light, very expensive to service and maintain, terrible fuel consumption, stupid small fuel tank, noisy, harsh ride.
I have owned my 1999 Icelle blue Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR for 2 and a half years, it has a stage 1 raliart conversion which takes it up to 330-340 bhp from the standard 276bhp. Quite simply there is no other car in the world that can go round a bend faster than an Evo this is because of the Active Yaw Control which transmits drive power where its needed so all you have to do is point it where you want it to go and floor it. the computer will sort the rest out. Although if you take a corner at stupid speed or come off the throttle on a bend you will die just as quickly as you would in any other car.
The acceleration of a lightly tuned car (I have not driven a standard one) is amazing seeing 0-60 in less than 5 seconds and still puling strong at over 150mph (340 bhp is good for 160mph easy).
Forget Imprezzas if you want a fast 4WD get an EVO.
