Good Points

Pretty

Bad Points

Poorly designed trigger and sloppy workmanship

General Comments

All one needs to do is remove the action from the stock and examine the trigger to establish that this rifle is inferior. The trigger merely hangs by various springs from the hammer tube. My gun had filings covering the interior surfaces produced by someones attempt to make the rifle function! Toy like guage, sloppy stock work and indexing troubles round out the complaints toward this poor excuse for a quality pcp rifle!

complete rubbish i work for logun and personally test all guns before they leavethe factory

    Jim,

You are employed as a gun assemblier which hardly qualifies you as an expert critic. Logon does not make the Axsor. The Asxor is assembled from parts made elsewhere.

Some people follow in a blind self serving haze of non-reality. The truth often makes one uncomfortable. Your didication to Logun, your employer, is as it should be!

  • jim hogan. on 15th Jun 2003

obviously you dont your loguns i work in england and develop and CREATE THE ENTIRE RANGE OF LOGUNS from the original silencer up to the sweet 16

  • Mr Logun. on 19th Jun 2003

Oh yes, and I own Logun...

I owned a Logun Axsor for about 6 months and was very happy with it, but I agree that there were problems with the magazine indexing, and pellets not feeding into the breech. I found that you had to clean out the magazine every time you used it to stop pellets being very stiff to feed forwards. Also the magazine did not index unless i was very particular about how i worked the bolt, if i did it quickly or slowly the mag wouldn't rotate fully.

very worrying as i just bought an axsor, haven't used it yet tho'..

I see most of the complaints are from the magazine indexing improperly. Most if not all these reviews were done almost exactly a year ago. Has the problem been solved or were there just a bad run of rifles made?

The magazine is poo, picture the scene, you are waiting on this gun for 2 months, jumping about with excitement...then it comes, well you all know that same old story about having to pussy foot around working the bolt
IT IS SO ANNOYING! sort of defeats the purpose of having a multishot "for that quick backup shot" now doesnt it.
I was very surprised at this as Logun is a manufacturer of luxury rifles, but that is what you get for not buying the MK2 Professional, nasty.

I`ve owned my Logun Axsor for about 6 months now, and have experienced no problems what so ever in regards to indexing, and pellets jamming in the breech.

Overall I found it to be an excellent PCP rifle, and absolutely LOVE using the bolt, when out in field, but ironically enough, thats the only small complaint about it too, that the bolt is a little to "Loose", and can be released quite easily if knocked or tapped accidentally....but I suppose, being that little bit loose, is what makes it so smooth, and quick to use for "Bolt action, rapid fire"!!!

I respect your possission in logun, and i think that you have made a wonderful job in quality control, and aftersale survice. The other bloke obviously doesnt know his bottom from his ear as the axor is the most highly effective hunting rife i have ever used (includung the air arms s410 carbine) I personally want to get a job at logun doing the same thing you do.

I can say with authority Jim Hogan is the designer and developer of logun rifles and silencers. His work is second to none.

Hi all. I own a logun Axsor Gemini in .177 calibre. The rifle is superb in every respect and a joy to use. It's quality from an enineering point of view far outweighs my quality as a shooter. Remember, that people are far more likely to leave a bad review, should they experience problems, than a good review when they are totally satisfied with their purchase. Don't be put off by any negative comments in this thread.
