Good Points

Great performance, especially through 50-70mph. Easy cruising at 80-90mph. At over 30mph you would not know it is a 2ltr turbo intercooler diesel engined car. Good handling and driving position. Economical: Motorway @ 50mph: 58mpg, 70mph: 52mpg, 85mph: 47/48mpg. No problems whatever in 20,000 miles motoring.

Bad Points

Gearing in 1st & 2nd gear to low. No foot rest for left foot. Heating requires fan on for any use. Rear mirror no use for short people. Boot very small.

General Comments

Overall the Rover 200 SDi is an economical, comfortable and reliable car, any bad points are minor i.e. the small boot is comparable in size with all of it's competitors in the market.
