Excellent service, polite staff, clean and big rooms, very good location, good food.


General Comments

I stayed at the Avlida mid September, left with very good impressions. The pool area was lovely, had a large area which I could play with my 3 year old without worrying as it was separate from the deep pool.

Bar prices were ok, a bit more than pub prices in England. Food was lovely, good selection morning lunch and dinner.

The rooms were big, sunny and cleaned every day, had a nice sea view even from the 1st floor.

In-house entertainment seemed to be good, was varied weekly, didn't stay in all nights but did not have a repetition when we did.

The staff was helpful and friendly, communication in English was never a problem.

Location wise, the hotel is a 3-5 minute walk from a beach, less than that for the entrance to a really nice archaeological area if one is into that stuff. Downtown night life area is about 15-20 minute walk. Theres a bus service to coral bay which is a more popular beach.

Very good hotel, I recommend it with all my heart.
