General Comments
My 13 year old son got the Barnett Ranger Recurve RX150 for Christmas. He and I have shot this crossbow on about 10 outings to the range. Right away I was impressed by the accuracy. It has a red dot scope which was right on target out of the box. I would say it was doing the rated 225fps ar least. We have done many penetration test with it, such as shooting through 2 LA phone books and right into the wooden back stop at 15 meters. I think this is a good starter crossbow for anyone of any age. It was on sale for 99 dollars at Big 5. Just remember 150lbs. pull is not for the weak. My son is very strong for his age and he really had to get his technique down before he could cock it. Cheers.
