Good Points

- Just great fun!

- Punisher death moves

- Able to pretty much decapitate (shot an arm off) people

- Interesting & funny storyline

Bad Points

- Game is aimed at older mature players, but based on a comic book hero (Younger children shouldn't play because of the amount of violence)

- Targeting system could be improved slightly

General Comments

I played the demo of The Punisher game back in January this year (05) and I have to say I was impressed, I purely just got the demo because I was bored one day, but soon after I had installed and played for 15 mins I was hooked!

Which is why I brought the full game on an American Import, cost a bit more but was totally worth it seeing how I live in the U.K and the release date isn't until April (05).

I couldn't believe how much better the actual game was than the demo, it's really vast & playable.

Although its based along the lines of a comic book character (a mighty violent one I might add to that) its clearly targeted at an older mature audience, I think the game producers -THQ took this into account when making this game, Punisher is old marvel super-hero so they knew it would appeal to the older generation.

Also I believe it is suppose to run in conjunction with the remake of 'The Punisher: Movie', which unfortunately in my opinion didn't do the original any justice, but enough about that were not here to discuss the movie! Just the game!

The game is beautifully engineered with seamless and seems like flawless design (dependent on graphics card though), the A.I is good, they don't run into you (as The Punisher) & just potter about to be shot, they do hide, run away, etc - making the gaming experience much better.

As you play as The Punisher, the games story will slowly unfold and for every level you play you gain 'style points' for punisher style executions, with the points you are able to upgrade the punishers arsenal of weaponry, ranging from scopes to better body armour.

The punisher has a huge arsenal of weaponry at his disposal, available to him by completing the levels, as you make your way through the game new and more exciting weapons will be your reward.

I think overall this is the best game of 2005 I have played so far, and would recommended it to everyone!
