General Comments

I made round trip reservation with Iberia from NYC to Madrid, then catch a connecting flight to Malaga for the week of Feb 20 thru Feb. 27. I called the airline three days in advanced to check for schedule changes, and I was told that my return trip had been changed. Instead of leaving Malaga at 2:00pm on Sunday, My flight would be leaving at 6:30am on that same Sunday that I was originally scheduled to leave on. When I arrived to the airport to catch my 9:10pm flight to Madrid, I was told that my plane had left. They had re-scheduled my departing flight over a month ago, and the agent that I spoke to three days prior to my departure neglected to tell me. I also found out that he not only re-scheduled my return trip, but for another day. Actually for that Monday. He specifically told me I was leaving the same day just a different time. They had no other flights leaving to Spain that day that they could place me on, nor did they have a way for me to get back to NYC before Monday. I had made reservations at a five star resort in Malaga, Spain, and the best the airline could do for me is place me on a leaving flight for Monday and a return flight for Wednesday. or Thursday. I never even got off the ground and my whole week was shattered, and thousands of dollars up in smoke.
