Bought this printer over a year ago for £55 and have found it easy to use (this is my first printer).
Prints everything I need well and have to say I'm well happy with it.
Can be very slow, and the price of the ink is a joke, best to use refills much cheaper.
Also a bit on the noisy side.
The Lexmark X1160 is a good basic printer, I cannot say about photos but for every day use I rate this as a reasonable machine. Easy to use and if you are not in a hurry it could be the printer for you.
