After playing Fable, I can assure you it has many good points. For one, the graphics, maybe not the top ones in the business but still they have this charming effect the really pleased me. Unlike most action/rpg's where you can only change your hero's equipment, in Fable you can change almost anything: haircut, facial hair, tatoo, etc. Other possibilities include marriage, buying a house, owning a shop and so on. The controls are simple yet effective. The game lasts 12-16 hours with a quick passthrough and 20- even 40 with all the annexes. The storyline is very captivating.
Good duration but somewhat repetitive. I played it through and through but a non-addict to this type of game might quit before the end. The storyline as I said is captivating but not as original as I would of hoped. There are bad points but they are slim details that the average gamer won't even remark upon.
Fable is captivating but not so original action/rpg. Just read the good/bad points and you'll see! It probably will be nominated as best rpg of the year for Xbox and it deserves it! Maybe not the fanciest game ever made but all in all it gets the job done. A good game for someone who loves the action/rpg genre or someone who just wants to burn time.
