General Comments

Gamo Af 10: --------------------------------------------------
----Story----

I bought my gamo af10 from my friend about a month ago and I have shoot over 5000 pellets trough it now.

----System----

This gun is compressed air pistol wich means there is a piston in the camber wich compresses the air in the chamber when gun is loaded and when you shoot the walwe releases the air in to the barrel sending the pellet fly. There is no spring in the gun wich means that it is almost recyl free. Gun is loaded by first pushing the upper lever front then pellet is put in the barrel or in the magazine. The the upper lever must be pushed down again wich is hard caused by the piston compressing air.

----Magazine----

There is a 12 round magazine in the gun (gamo says it can only take 10 rounds) but mine takes 12. The magazine is a tube magazine made of metal and when the magazine spring pushes the rounds forward the first round in magazine allways goes in the barrel. The magazine is easy to full and it takes no force.

----Shooting----

Shooting with gamo af 10 is easy and fun. The gun must be loaded after every shot like an spring gun. The gun is wery accurate indeed and the sights are good for shooting accurately. The gun is accurate enough to hit a coke can up to 35-40 metres. You gan get tight groupings with this at 10 metres distances 15 metres the grouping is stil wery good.

----Power----

This gun is not wery powerful at all. The guns best thing is that if you are shootind rats or crittes you can do clear neck or head shots when the guns power is lethal. The velocity is 380feets per second (115m/s). The bad points are that it shatters paper targets (they are hard to read) when more powerful rifles or pistol make round holes.I think this gun has enough power for rats and quite small birds and coke cans and target shooting.

----At all----

This gamo is good for target shooting and plinking and just having fun.It can kill litle animals but i hawe used more powerful air guns when hunting. I also have these guns: Gamo auto 45, Gamo pt80, Crosman 357 '6' ,Gamo cf-x, Chinese xs-b12 and Gamo hunter 1250.
