Adobe Premiere Elements is a first class piece of software, it is easy to use, relatively easy to learn and for the price it can't be beaten.
This software allows you to copy all your footage from the camera in one go, has hundreds of transition and cutting effects and when you're finished it allows you to save your film onto dvd or video, into popular file types for the web and into file types compatible with mobile phones and pocket PC's. The manual could be more detailed and is sometimes confusing but there is a detailed help function built into the software.
I've heard that some people are having problems getting the camera to work with older dv cameras but it wasn't a problem with mine so I suggest you do a bit of research before you buy. I would definitely recommend this programme to anybody who wants to do that little bit extra with their videos than the norm.
Problems with Tech Support
One other problem, not with the software itself, is the help line - apparently they will want you to pay about £29 before they help you which is almost half what the software costs to buy - this in my opinion is a bit unreasonable.
