Nice trigger
Fairly accurate
Adjustable sights
Main seal durability
Minimal velocity
Slippery plastic grip
Light muzzle
When I purchased the P3 I intended to use it as a
beginners NRA match air pistol which is fired in the Olympic style with one hand. I found that it was not ideally suited for that. It did had a nice light trigger and adjustable sights, but its
shorter sighting radius, light muzzle and slippery
plastic grip proved to be frustrating. Also, the
large hump on the backstrap of the grip was too
uncomfortable for my hand. It did help to wrap the
grip with a thin synthetic material. However, the
pistol's major drawback was the premature wear of
the gun's main seal. It was suppose to be a self
lubricating seal but I found that as the seal wore in, it would become uneven inside the cylinder and need time to smooth out and produce air pressure reliably again. I estimate that I only fired the pistol 5-6,000 shots max., but the seal was purported to last 2 or 3 times that amount. Imagine what I thought when the Marksman clone went on sale at WalMart for $40 now 2-3 years later. While the pistol did provide a degree of enjoyment, I now feel that it was mostly of a hollow nature since much of it was the result of struggling to periodically overcome the gun's faults.
