I got Works 7 with my new computer; it has everything I need - spreadsheets, word processing and databases. It is great for what I need it for, but it has got its limitations, it does open office documents, which you can edit and change, but this isn't easy. You have to set up windows (manually) so that the default program used to read ".doc" files is Microsoft Works Word Processor. Trying to save documents is a nightmare as the default save format is wps and you can't change the setting. You have to really faff about trying to save files, then strange things start happening to your work! The spreadsheet is not compatible with Microsoft Excel, so for someone at college like me, Works does not work. Only good if you do not need to work with office!!!
