I have have my brand new red Piaggio NRG Power 50cc dd scooter since the 12th of feb. My first bike - It is wicked, I have had a go on other bikes but this beats them all.
In the wind the bike is very stable. Big wheels make for great handeling. Liquid cooled engine is very responsive and when restricted does 35mph on the flat but that can go up to 40 when run in and when derestricted in perfect condions can reach 70mph standered. Very comfortable to ride with great acceleration, I beat a mec slr maclaren super car at the lights (to 30mph anyway:) big under seat storage and a bag hook next to the ignition. To release the seat you put the key in the ignition and press this unlocks the seat and means it cant be forced open. I would defently recommend this bike to anyone.

Im soon getting my piaggio nrg power, from what I hear so far its good, what sort of mileage do you get out of it on a full tank, I should be getting the black and green version, I agree with you that its by far the better bike out of any because i've been on other bikes as well including the old piaggio nrg and that bike is better than any of the other bikes around, so the new piaggio should be better than any of them oviosly because the new one is supposed to be better than the old one. post a comment back please thanks x

Your getting the aircooled one right. for the first 500 miles econamy is rubbish, I have done 262 miles in under a month and am only getting 70 miles on a full tank. When fully run in it should do 130 mile on full. The exhaust is rubbish, sounds ok but rusts very quickly, I'm buying a tecnigas soon.

<br>Good luck on your nrg but dont ride with your feet on the passenger foot rests, makes you look like a prat and lowers the speed as it increaces drag.

I have just bought a brand new 2005 NRG power dt. It does 30 on a straight 40-45 downhill and 20 uphill. I was just wondering if anyone knows if i wear the bike in a bit because it is brand new will it increase the speed, if not does anyone know any sport exhausts that fit this model.!

My NRG DT has done 1,500 miles but only does around 40-50 miles to a full tank, is it just mine or is anyone else having that trouble or know why?
